FRUSTRATING MEETING

12thJan. × ’16

In our meeting
I wish I were an erector set

We could fit together so conveniently
You would see the way to build

I would cooperate with our hovel
not stall for the wider landscape

But we live in New York City
my brain is full of stories

Memories make us
If all our water spilled out

and we poured into a waterbed
Would you more agree then?

Or would we distill separate purify?
The children are taking the pH

I would like to crack your head open
to pour some fairy dust

Somewhere there must be a surgeon
Take me under to remove particles unwanted

Make us only purified
though this meeting would then be boring

We would have lost the milieu
